My foundation began at Goldman Sachs in New York City, where I established my career in the heart of finance. I expanded into other companies like Yahoo!, where wearing jeans every day was a huge plus.
The move to technology was a turning point: I could do HR in a place where I felt authentic, not held back by the formalities of a traditional industry.
It was eye-opening to discover I could be real and accessible as an HR executive, which became my brand throughout my 20+ year corporate journey.
Twice in my career I went on my own as a coach and consultant. I learned I'm entrepreneurial, but returned to corporate because I missed the complexity, the dynamics, and the constant problem solving. I coach every day in my corporate role.
As a coach, I’m down to earth and accessible, with deep experience in corporate HR. And there’s a flip side to that corporate coin – mindfulness and inner wisdom.
I've been a certified executive coach since 2009, and I do coaching differently, just as I’ve always done HR differently. I understand the challenges of corporate leadership because I've navigated them, including the politics. But I have also learned to appreciate what’s integral to human nature regardless of milieu - in stillness lies answers.
This balance is what sets my approach apart. I get the tangible, tactical aspects of navigating a job search or being a better leader, but I also know how to help you tap into yourself more effectively – how to pause and allow for space and silence in your life so you can find the answers and solutions you're seeking.
